Celebration Assemblies
Every Friday, we come together as ‘Un Teulu Mawr’ (One Big Family) for our special celebration assembly, where we recognise and celebrate the achievements of our children both in and beyond the classroom.
Our ‘Plentyn yr Wythnos’ (Child of the Week) awards reflect our school vision, values and rules. These awards honour pupils who consistently demonstrate these qualities throughout the week, highlighting positive attitudes, effort and exemplary behaviour.
Our Criw Cymraeg proudly nominate children for the ‘Seren yr Wythnos’ (Star of the Week) award. This recognises pupils who have shown outstanding commitment to speaking Welsh and who actively support others in developing their Welsh language skills.
Each celebration assembly also includes our unique school song — written collaboratively by the children alongside the Welsh Whisperer — and concludes with our school reflection prayer, bringing our community together in a shared moment of gratitude and pride.
